About this Beta version

This WinGroove is a Beta version that is released previous to the Retail-version-0.A4. However, it is NOT a kind of test version. Most functions and behaviors of this Beta version will be quite the same as the retail-version 0.A4, because, most new functions on this version have already been used by a lot of users in Japan. So, I recommend all WinGroove users to begin to use this version today!

The difference between the beta version and the retail version will be only the following two points.

The Help file for version 0.A4 has not been completed yet.
The attached "WinGroove Help" is an old version.
Some related web pages (directly opened from the program) have not been completed yet.

The retailed version 0.A4 will be released as soon as the completion of the above points.
So, please do not use this Beta version files for your re-distributions.
Also, please do not place this Beta version files on any web sites.

I will appreciate your suggestions, behavior reports, bug reports, and reports for my wrong English expressions.

!! ATTENTION !!

In most case, Microsoft's Internet Explorer neglects showing error message if a download was aborted from server side.
It leaves incomplete file on disk and displays that like the download has been correctly completed.
Therefore, it is necessary to confirm whether the FILE SIZE IS CORRECT after download is complete.
This story is applied to not only this site but also ALL DOWNLOAD OPERATIONS using the Internet Explorer. Please be careful.

INSTALLATION

1. Run WG0A4_UE.EXE (in case of updated version) or WG0A4_E.EXE (in case of fullset version) from the Explorer.

2. Change the temporary folder path location shown if it can not be used for installation.

3. "END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT" will be shown. Please read all sections of the text.

4. [I accept ...] button will be enabled when the text has been scrolled to the last sentence. Click the button.

5. < The update version only > The installer will show a folder path for an old version of WinGroove installed. Correct it if it is not right.

6. Follow some instructions suggested by the installer.
You can always terminate the installation using [Cancel] button during the installation.

7. At the last stage of the installation, you can select whether WinGroove will be installed as a device driver or not.

UNINSTALLATION

1. Click [Uninstall WinGroove] short cut icon on [WinGroove] folder on the [Start] button or the Program manager. [WinGroove Uninstaller] will appear.
The uninstaller can also be opened with the following sequence.

[My Computer] -> [Control Panel] -> [Add or Remove Programs] -> [WinGroove (Software Wavetable Synthesizer)]

2. Check the first four check-boxes shown on the first screen of the uninstaller.
Please note that if the 5th check-box ("All WinGroove informations ...") is checked, the 30days of trial period will be lost if you are not a registered user. The trial days will not be restored even if you re-install WinGroove again.
Also, if you are a registered user. please copy and retain your Password and your User-ID for future installations of WinGroove.

3. Click [Next] button and follow the instructions suggested by the uninstaller.

4. At the last stage of the uninstallation, check the [Restart Windows] check-box and click [OK] button to complete the uninstallation.

SHAREWARE REGISTRATION

WinGroove is a shareware product. The registration price is US$20.

You can register WinGroove from the Online Registration Page.
